Vera Howard went home to be with the Lord July 25, 2020. Vera was a life long resident of McIntosh County and the Beloved Mother of five children.
She was born April 2, 1935 in Swainsboro, Ga. Her parents were Wilson and Lucille Strange. Vera was preceded in death by her son, Dean Padgett, sister, Brenda Sawyer, and her mother and father.
Vera was an active nurse for 40+ years and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Pigot Branch Cemetery at 11:00am in Ludowici, Ga.
