Vera Lee Davis

Vera was a lifelong native of Brunswick, Georgia born October 17, 1931 to the late Crawford Miller and the late Beulah Hanberry Miller.

Vera was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed cooking , baking and visiting with her family. She has always put her family first in her life. Vera was a member of the Golden Isles Church of God. She leaves behind many memories that will be cherished by all.

In addition to Vera’s parents she is preceded in death by her husband Merle C. Davis: and brother James Miller.

Vera is survived by three sons Larry Davis and wife Brenda, James and Michael Davis; two grandchildren Regina and Jennifer Davis; sister Janette Lockhart; three brothers Bainey, Earnest, and Delmer Miller; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation is to be held 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday evening November 16, 2021 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, Georgia.

A funeral service is to be held 11 am. Wednesday, November 17, 2021in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home where Dr. Michael Landrum is to officiate. Interment will follow the service at East Palmetto Cemetery.

Serving pallbearers will be Denise Mosley, Carol Cox, Carson Davis, Lamar Chasteen, Eric Chasteen, and Benny Cox.
