Sue Ann Vaughan

Sue graduated with a degree in Music from The University of the Cumberlands formerly, Cumberland College. She taught Elementary School music from 1965 to 1981 when she was appointed as an IMB missionary to Japan. She served as a church and home missionary until 1986 and then spent her remaining working life as a church and associational administrative assistant.

She was married to Keith B. Vaughan for 42 years. She is survived by her two children, Lara Carlson (Todd) and David Vaughan (Jill), and four grandchildren, Rachel and Ashley Carlson and Jackson and Ella Vaughan.

Sue provided a legacy of faith for her family that will continue for generations. A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 15, 2023, at Frederica Baptist Church on St. Simons Island. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the service will follow at 11:00 AM.
