Steve was a native of Tennessee who managed several fast food restaurants including Burger King, Taco Bell and Arby’s. He was promoted to District Manager then worked as a trainer for Burger King and was later recruited to work here on the coast to serve as the General Manager of Taco Bell then Arby’s. Steve was a hands-on type person who was always building or fixing something. He loved to do wood working and was a talented guitar and piano player. He collected coins and enjoyed growing houseplants. He was also an excellent cook who was known for his grilled cheese sandwiches and was “famous” for his egg rolls. All who knew and loved him will miss him terribly.
Steve is survived by four children, Joseph Daniel Wilson (Katrina Marie Goodwin) of Salem, Oregon, Lindsey Ann Aylett (Trey) of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Breyonna Renee Wilson of Brunswick and Rylee Marie Bradley of Ellijay, Georgia; two grandchildren, Alysea Gonzales and Aidan Wilson of Bloomfield; his father, George Wilson (Sandy) of Reedsville, Ohio; his mother, Margaret Wilson of Alamogordo, New Mexico; four siblings, Jennifer Adair (Kenny) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Doug Wilson of Reno, Nevada, Amy Ortiz (Andy) of Fort Worth, Texas and Dawn Tilt of Granbury, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
