Sherrie Taylor Mistisshen

Sherrie Taylor Mistisshen, age 45, went in the arms of Jesus to live Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 4:03PM after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, April 12, 2013 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery with Thomas Taylor, Eric Miller, Brandon Mistisshen, Aaron Taylor, Matthew Mistisshen, and John Mistisshen II serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be The Staff of Coastal Cardiology.

Born October 20, 1967 in Jacksonville, FL to Wayne and Carolyn M. Taylor, she was a former employee of Coastal Cardiology. Mrs. Mistisshen had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 31 years and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking , travel and especially spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Michael P. Mistisshen of Brunswick, a son, Matthew Mistisshen of Camden County, three daughters, Crystal Miller and husband Eric, Mandy Keach, and Laura Dugger, all of Brunswick, four grandchildren, Payton Miller, Katelyn Dugger, Claire Dugger, and Madison Hall, her mother, Carolyn McIntyre Taylor of Brunswick, a brother, Aaron L Taylor and wife Tamara of Burlington, NC, a sister, Lisa Fletcher and husband Brad of Destin, FL, father and mother in law, John and Janice Mistisshen of Brunswick, four brothers in law, John Mistisshen II and wife Donna of Brunswick, and Steve Mistisshen and wife Kim of Orange Park, FL, and Peter Mistisshen of Brunswick, a sister in law, Catherine Heath and husband Rich of Mineral, VA, uncles, Kenneth McIntyre and wife Shelley of Jacksonville, Michael McIntyre and wife Charlotte of Sanderson, FL, several nieces and nephews including, Thomas Wayne Taylor, Garrett Fletcher, Carter Fletcher, Dawson Fletcher, and Ashley Fletcher, and numerous cousins.
