She is a life-long native of Brunswick, GA born July 19, 1958 to Wynelle Outler Jewell and the late Edward Jewell. Mrs. Sturdivant is a graduate of Brunswick High School, and was the manager of Salvador's Delicatessen on Gloucester Street until December of 2000.
Mrs. Sturdivant is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charles (Chuck) Sturdivant; two sons, Adam and Drew Sturdivant; her mother, Wynelle Outler Jewell; two brothers, Hugh and Chris Peeples; two grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. Wright Culpepper officiating.
