Sandy Kaye Silva

Sandy was a lifelong resident of Brunswick, Georgia and a 1979 graduate of Brunswick High School. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was the office manager for Dr. Suzanne Mericle Dentistry on St. Simons Island. Sandy was a great friend to many and could light up any room with her infectious smile. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and best friend. She was the greatest Nene ever and loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She enjoyed the beach, being on the water, and spending time with family. She loved to host friends and enjoyed cooking as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Bill Silva of Brunswick, GA; a daughter, Alisha Cawley (Joe) of Savannah, GA; and son, Lane Silva (Morgan) of Woodstock, GA; four precious grandchildren, Case, Joey, Addilyn, and Ada; her parents, Ed and Nelma Lane; her three siblings, Danny, Butch, and Snapper. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, John and Rose Silva.

The family will receive friends between 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Tim McKeown officiating. You are cordially invited to join the family in celebrating a life well lived with consideration of wearing a mask and social distancing.
