Ronald Harrison

Ronald Elridge Harrison, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health System. Mr. Harrison, a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy, was born on March 3rd, 1935 in Brunswick Georgia to the late Newman Baker Harrison and Amelia Louise Richardson

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Elizabeth Harrison, affectionately known as Sister.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith Harrison; his son, Ronald Elridge Harrison II and his wife Kristi, of St Simons Island, and son, James Newman Harrison and his wife Marcy, of Pensacola, Florida; his four grandsons, Ronald Elridge Harrison III, Nicholas Houston Harrison, Christopher Case Harrison and Loxley Benjamin Harrison; his three granddaughters, Alexis Grace Harrison, Abigail Sophia Harrison, and Courtney Hall Miller; and great granddaughter, Sidney Ann Miller; his brothers, Rodney Harrison, Avery Harrison, Hugh Harrison and Neil Harrison; his sisters, Carol White, Mary Schwartz and Yvonne Smith; and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his wife, sons and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. A private memorial service will take place on Saturday June 1st, 2013.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home
