Patricia Anne Jacchia

Patricia Anne Galbreath Jacchia, age 82, of St. Simons Island, died Friday, January 9, 2015. She was born in Lyons, GA to Alex Galbreath and Mary Lee Dickerson. She was member of the Glynn Academy graduating class of 1949, and had been a member of St. Simons Presbyterian Church since 1942. She was an artist who loved working in her rose gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jacchia.

She is survived by two sons, Alex Corbitt (Donna) of Yukon, OK and Stephen Jacchia of Beaufort, SC; a daughter, Karen Fawcett (Mark) of Beaufort, SC; a step-son, William Jacchia (Chai) of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; eleven grandchildren, Stephen, Alex (Amanda) and Craig (Amy) Corbitt of Yukon, OK, Rebecca and John Jacchia of Winston Salem, NC, Justin and Clay (Lauren) Fawcett of Beaufort, Amy Slattery (Brendan), Billy Jacchia (Kelly), Scott Jacchia and Jennifer Beck (Brian); seventeen great-grandchildren, Abby Jacchia, Sean, Grayson and Jackson Fawcett, Zayne, Abagail, Crew, Mission, Grace and Seth Corbitt, Cade, Cal and Porter Jacchia, Christian and Charlie Slattery and Alexandria and Sophia Beck; a sister, Faye Meadows of Norfolk, VA and a brother, A.T. Galbreath of St. Simons Island.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Simons Presbyterian Church with Reverend Bob Brearly officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Jacchia, Clay Fawcett, Justin Fawcett, George Bagby, Paul Brown and Jack Crawford.
