Patricia Coty

Patricia Coty, 62, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. A celebration of life service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Brunswick on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2 PM with Rev. Dawn Mayes, Pastor Danny Grace and Rev. Dan Harris officiating.

Patricia was born November 26, 1950 in Savannah, GA to Emanuel H. Douglas, Jr. and Dean Douglas. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Brunswick and enjoyed cooking, going to the lake and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by a grandson: Jay. She is survived by her husband: Daniel Coty, Sr., of Brunswick; three children: Cindy Coty Gaskins (Jason) of Gray, GA, Danny Coty (Avery) of Brunswick, GA and Joseph Coty (Brittni) of Statesboro, GA; her mother: Dean Douglas; six grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Tanner, Madisyn, Grace, Kennedi and Reid; two sisters: Harriet Jandrlich (Michael) of Savannah, GA and MaryAnn Daniels (Rick) of Brunswick, GA; one brother: Harry Douglas of Cumming, GA and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation be made to Jay’s HOPE Foundation 4 Kids with Cancer. A memorial fund has been set up under Patricia Douglas Coty, (1157 Forsyth St. Suite B, Macon, GA 31201 or www.jayshope.org)
