Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 57 following a two month battle
with cancer.
Mr. McQuaig is survived by his mother Joyce Perry McQuaig; Sisters
Debbie McQuaig and Linda Zangla; Brother Jeff McQuaig; Aunt Faye
Merier; Uncles Tommy Faulkner and Wayne Merier; nephew Joseph
Zangla; Numerous cousins and Girlfriend Lynn Boyce of New York.
Mr. McQuaig is preceded in death by his father Major Randall Morell
McQuaig, USAF.
Mike was born in Newport News, Virginia, and has been a resident of
Brunswick, Ga., for many years. He served his country with the United
States Air Force, obtaining his career as an aircraft mechanic.
A Memorial service to remember Mr. McQuaig’s life will be held at
North Island Church, St. Simons Island, Ga., on July 23, 2016 at 10:00
AM. Friends and family are invited to share in a celebration of his life. In
lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Heartland Hospice or
American Cancer Association.
