Maureen Frances Guenther

Maureen Guenther, 54, of St. Simons Island, departed this life Thursday, July 9, 2015 at SGHS. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 7PM in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Born September 22, 1960 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to William and Kathleen C. Kane, she was a customer service associate with Parkers. Mrs. Guenther had been a resident of St. Simons Island since 2002 and was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, as well as watching the sunrise and sets from East Beach on St. Simons Island. She was preceded in death by her father William Kane.

Survivors include her four sons, Chris Guenther and wife Delfina, and Tom Guenther and wife Lauren of, NJ, Michael Guenther and Brian Guenther both of Georgia, grandchildren, Valentina Guenther, Raymond Guenther, Caden Guenther, Patrick Guenther, and Dylan Guenther, her mother, Kathleen Kane of St. Simons Island, a brother Billy Kane and wife Debbie of NJ, a sister, Ann Cavallaro and husband Bob of Colts Neck, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5PM until the funeral hour at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Michael J.
