Mary Barbara Roberts

Barbara was born January 13, 1938 to William and Fannie Mozelle Thomas Davis in Jesup, GA. She graduated from Wayne County High School where she was a head majorette. Barbara was married to Eddie Roberts for 36 years until his passing in 1996. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church and participated in the WHFMS (Womens Home and Foreign Mission Society). She volunteered with the Glynn County Special Olympics where she made many lifelong friends. She was affectionately called Mema & Mimi by everyone that knew her. Barbara enjoyed cooking for both her family and others and was known for her Pound Cake and made from scratch Chicken & Dumplings. Barbara loved gardening and could often be found creating photo albums for her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Roberts; parents, William and Fannie Davis; brothers, Rex, Joseph, Bill, Jack, Tommy, Harry, Burley, Earl, and Kenny Davis; and sister, Vee D. Donahue.

Barbara is survived by her children Mary Roberts and Robbie Roberts; Grandchildren, Eric Yarbrough, Mandy Yarbrough, Allen Roberts, Payton Roberts, and Izzy Roberts; Great grandchildren, Brayden, Kyle, and Nic along with many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am Friday June 7th at the Advent Christian Church 1812 Ellis St Brunswick, Ga.
