Mary "Lib" Ferrell

Mrs. Ferrell was born in Raeford, North Carolina July, 1, 1939 to the late Pearl Sessoms, and the late Sarah Elizabeth Yarborough, and had been a resident of Hortense for the past sixteen years. Mrs. Ferrell retired for the Department of Motor Vehicle after many years of service. She is a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church, and the UMW Sunday school class. Lib enjoyed spending time with her family and friends that leaves many fond memories that will be cherished by all.

In addition to Mrs. Ferrell’s parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, and a sister.

Survivors include Mrs. Ferrell husband Don Ferrell of Hortense, GA; six children Donna Marie Quinn (Terry ) of Waynesville, GA, Hayley Elizabeth Osburn of Waynesville, GA, Patrick Delano Osburn, Jr., of Atlanta, GA, Daniel Eugene Ferrell( Margaret ) of Wytheville, VA, Shirley Katrena Perkins ( Richard ) of Wytheville, VA, and Stanley Ray Ferrell of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members.

Visitation at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Emanuel United Methodist Church, 245 Ratcliff Rd., Brunswick, Ga with Pastor Eddie Morrison officiating. , with burial following the service in Emanuel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
