Mary Josephine Leavy Fazio

Josephine Leavy Fazio,85, of Brunswick passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at San Sebastian Catholic Church in St. Augustine, FL.

Born in Brunswick, she was the daughter of Arthur Heyward and Pauline Browne Leavy. She is survived by her three children, Theresa Fazio Dyches of Lakeland, Florida, Paula Fazio LeCompte (Sonny) of St. Simons Island, Thomas Joseph Fazio, Jr. of Brunswick. She had ten grandchildren, Tony Fazio Arevalo (Amy), James Fausto Weekley, Jr. (Cayce), Rhoda Christine Ward (Anthony), Christine Weekley Shiver, Christopher G. Esponge’, Dina Marie Fazio, Leasa Nicole Fazio, Jennifer Dyches Telford (Byron), Thomas Joseph Fazio, III (Amy), and Michael Santino Fazio; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph Fazio; her parents, A.H. and Pauline Leavy; sister, Browne Leavy Keleher, brother, Carl F. Leavy, and grandson, Clifton (J.R.) Esponge.
