Marshie A. Altman Hutcherson

Mrs. Hutcherson was a native of Baxley, Ga., and had been a resident of Brunswick for over 57 years. She was a graduate of the Appling High School and the George College in Milledgeville, Ga. She was retired as a teacher with the Glynn County Board of Education.

Mrs. Hutcherson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick and the Fellowship Sunday School Class of the Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas S, Hutcherson of Brunswick.

Survivors are her three sons, Thomas Hutcherson, Jr. (Debbie) of Marietta, Ga., Donald Hutcherson (Debbie) of Loganville, Ga., Carl Hutcherson of Douglasville, Ga., a daughter, Patricia Me Harry (George) of Atlanta, Ga., two grandsons, Bradford Hutcherson of Marietta, Ga., and George Me Harry, III of Atlanta, Ga., a sister, Janett Den of Brunswick and a brother, Delton Altman of Baxley.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday 10/28/11 in the First United Methodist Church of Brunswick with Rev. James R. Mc Ilrath officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: J. Robert Jones, Sr., J. Robert Jones, Jr., Don Mason, Steve Pittman, and William Nicholson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, 10/27/11.
