Marla Sue Wandrum, 35, of Braselton, GA passed away on Saturday, the 5th of October 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, the 10th of October 2013 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Mrs. Clarissa Hall officiating. Interment will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery, with a catered reception following the Interment at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Serving pallbearers will be her father John Wandrum, her son Jacob Wandrum, her significant other Luis Higuita, her brother Tommy Wandrum, her nephew Tommy Wandrum, Jr., and her cousin Jason Nagel.
Family will receive friends Wednesday the 9th of October 2013 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 6 PM – 8 PM.
Miss Wandrum was born the 27th of June, 1978 in Hollywood, Florida to John Thomas Wandrum and Dorise Mobley Wandrum. She attended Hollywood Christian, and graduated from South Broward High. She attended McFatter where she earned her LPN Degree and later earned an Associate’s Degree from Indian River State College. Marla loved spending time with her children. Every chance she had, Marla went to the beach. She had a love for reading and learning. One of her passions was watching football on Sunday afternoons with her dad and big brother with a beer in hand. When she was a kid she spent every summer on St. Simons Island with her Nanny and Pa, whom she loved dearly.
Survivors include her mother and father Dorise Mobley Wandrum, and John Thomas Wandrum of Okeechobee, FL.; her grandmother, Marjorie Mobley, St. Simons Island, GA; her children Jacob, Savannah, Mary, Mayah, and Luis Jr.; her brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Norma of Braselton, GA; her nephew and niece Tommy Jr. and Tori; significant other Luis Higuita; and many other relatives.
