Marie Ann Gray

Marie Ann Gray, age 83, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Marie was born in Niagara Falls, New York the daughter of the late Harry Oscar Lowman and the late Jennie May Lowman. She was also preceded in death by two of her siblings, Harrison Lowman and Nancy Dell.

Marie Ann had resided in Brunswick for the past 55 years and was retired from Sea Island, Inc. She was a kind and compassionate lady that was always willing to be the caregiver during someone’s time of need. She was also a strong willed and determined lady that will always be remembered for smiling even during her most difficult moments in her life. Family was always number one in her eyes and she treasured the time she spent with her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also enjoyed animals and they brought her great joy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Marie Ann’s memories are her two daughters, Barbara Taylor-Scott (Diane) and Deborah Gray; a son, Billy Gray (Kim); two grandchildren, Misty Kern (David) and William Taylor; six great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Austin, Patrick, Cody, Kinsley, and Joshua; two precious great-great grandchildren, Myla Rose and Kayson and expecting a third blessing soon; one sister, Janet Mac Vie. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She also leaves behind two dogs and three cats that she loved very much: her dogs are Maggie May and Max: and her cats are, Boo Boo, Bella, and Maxine.

A celebration of life gathering for Marie will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA.
