Linda M. Meeks

Linda was born on February 11, 1948 to Thomas and Marjorie McGuyer in Providence, Kentucky. Linda was passionate about her flowers and plants. Linda and her devoted yellow lab, Shiloh, were inseparable. Linda was an avid reader and books were a big part of her life. Before her retirement, Linda was always the go-to person in any position she held because of her intellect and passion for perfection.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of almost 35 years: Jesse Jay Meeks of St. Simons Island; her parents: Thomas and Marjorie McGuyer of Brunswick; a daughter: Christina Meeks Bracci of Ridgeville, SC; a sister: Karen Manning of Kingsland, GA; one grandson, two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

The loss of Linda has created a void in the lives she touched that will never be filled, especially for her husband Jay. She will always be in his heart.

A celebration of Linda’s life is to be conducted 5 PM – 7 PM Sunday September 23, 2012 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave. Brunswick, GA. with Rev. Marcia Cochran officiating.
