Linda was born in Brunswick to Allen and Lena Howard. She married George Leon Brown who preceded her in death. Linda worked as a housekeeper at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick campus for many years and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed crocheting and working with her flowers. She was also a social person who enjoyed visiting with others. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by two children, Joseph Jones (Tanya) of Ocean Springs, MS and Jennifer Mason (James) of Hortense; seven grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Alex Jones, Kayla Mallard, Leeann Moody, Heather Mason, Megan Masingale (Beaudi) and Trevor Mason; six great-grandchildren, Paisley Mason, Noah Masingale, Eli Harrell, Braelynn Harrell, Ella Burkes and Colton Mallard; a sister, Kathleen Alexander (Ben) and two brothers, Allen Howard (Debbie) and Franklin Howard.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
