Linda Irene Davis

Linda Irene Davis of St. Simons Island, Georgia passed away at her home on June 2, 2024 Linda is survived by her daughter, Linda Danielle Davis, brother, Charles R. Davis Sr.(Janice) and sister in-law Patti Davis, her surviving nieces and nephews, Jennifer Paden(Marc), Darren Davis, Emily Rebecca Davis, and Joshua Y. Davis; great nieces and nephews, Theodore Paden, Eli Paden, Conner Davis and Miranda Davis along with her many loving cousins. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Gaines H. Davis and Irene Frohock Davis, her brother, Mike Davis and her nephew Charles R. Davis. Jr.

Linda is a native of St. Marys, Georgia and graduated from Camden County High School in 1968.. Her roots run deep. The Frohock, Pacetti, and Davis families were founding settlers of Kingsbay and St. Marys and her Pacetti ancestors were Minocran settlers in St. Augustine, FLA in the 1700.

Linda grew up fishing, hunting, and farming. She enjoyed her plants and flowers and sharing all of her tips on how to grow them although she could not keep a cactus alive. She loved spending time near or on the water, and could tell you when and where to catch a fish and how to cook it along with so many delicious family dishes that were passed along to her. Linda obtained her cosmetology license in Florida and went on to become a Master Barber.

She had numerous regular clients spanning 3 generations of families. Linda was full of local and worldly knowledge, a great listener, and always willing to give good advice and share a laugh. Her greatest gift was her warm and friendly spirit, she will be missed by many, but her legacy will live on through all the lives that she touched over the years.

A celebration of life will take place on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Please join us to share your memories and stories about Linda. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local humane society.
