Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Frank Alexander McDowell, ant the late Thelma Lee Miller McDowell, born in Glynn County, November 4, 1942, and had been a resident of Hortense since 1988. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy, and a member of The Way of the Cross Church. Mrs. Taylor had worked in the Seafood Industry for over 50 Years.
Mom was our role model, spiritual advisor, problem solver, peace maker, and our best friend. She had the biggest heart, and would help anyone in need regardless. She will be missed by all she touched.
In addition to Mrs. Taylor’s parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Frankie, and Peggy; and two brothers Robert and Ronnie.
Survivors include her husband Clifford Manuel Taylor of Hortense, GA; four daughters Donna Roberson of Hortense, GA, Cyndie Fine (Donald) of Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer Menden of Hortense, GA, and Renee Zeigler ( Kenneth) of Brunswick, GA; their father Richard Menden Leesburg, FL; eight grandchildren Casey, Calvin, Matthew, Leslie, Macey, Mitchell, Thomas, and Kayden; four great-grandchildren; five sisters Margaret, Marcia, Dianne, Cathy, and Sara; four brothers Frank, Shelton, Ben, and David. Mrs. Taylor is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 2, 2017 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Mr. David Spence officiating.
