I can not imagine your loss but God needed her.
My sons went to Brunswick High with both of your daughters.
They played soccer and kicker for the 1999 championship football season.  I remeber seeing your daughters at games cheering. I am so very sorry toyou all foryour loss.  I still have my sons.  We are parents forever.

Kristi’s celebration today was beautiful and encompassed who she was-   Effervescent, loving, and compassionate. I grew up dancing with her at Eleanor Brooks and took many of her hip hop classes. They were always a highlight of my visits home and the most fun. The world is a lot less bright without her, rest easy sweet girl. 💗

Janet, Don and Ashley, I had not seen Kristi since she was probably 2 or 3 years old.  She was a beautiful child who grew into a beautiful young, talented, loving  young woman.  My heart goes out to all of you at this most painful time.  I know she was blessed to have had the most loving, Godly family.  Love and prayers to all.

Don, Janet and Ashley, I cannot even begin to imagine the pain and aching you are feeling. Kristi was such a beautiful soul and had the most beautiful smile.  She was so encouraging to me and sweet friend. I will always cherish the season that I had with you all at State Farm. You all were a God Send to me, especially Kristi, and I will forever be thankful for and cherish the time I spent getting to know her while talking about all things Vegan, Yoga and Disney. 
I am praying for all of you and thinking about you daily. Love all of you so much.

The first time I met Kristi, she was attending my first ever spin class at OMCORE. I was nervous and intimidated when I found out she was an instructor but she soon put to rest my fears with her shining eyes and sincere smiles of encouragement. I was so happy she was there that day and I was blessed to have her in my yoga teacher training several years later. She was a true professional with astute insight and attention to detail.
Her dedication to her practice and her sincere, compassionate and kind energy was a blessing that I will always treasure to have witnessed. She even wrote up our study guide and that was such a blessing to all of us in the class.
It's very clear that she is loved by so many. My heart hurts for the great loss of such a beautiful young woman and the void that leaves for all of her loved ones. May God fill your hearts with a quiet peace and surround you with love, support and healing as you walk through this time of mourning and loss.

Don, Janet, Ashley and Family- May God wrap his loving arms around you as you grieve the loss of Kristi.  I will always remember her as that beautiful girl who's smile could light of the world.  I loved watching her dance growing up.  I pray that God's love and peace surround you and that your memories of Kristi comfort you in the days ahead.

The first time I saw Kristi dance might have been her first recital. I know she was very small, maybe 3 or 4 and it was a solo. She was amazing and so cute and energetic. She brought the house down!  I can still picture that. 💕

As Kristi's former teacher and student council advisor, I have many, many wonderful memories of her.   She was pure joy and sunlight, and her smile was infectious.  My favorite memory of her was when she and her friend, Megan danced in the streets of Florence, Italy.  We were on our way back to the hotel after ONE MORE gelato and we heard an American couple singing familiar songs.  We all stopped to listen, and Kristi and Megan began to spontaneously dance joyfully in the street.  Since that night, this is the image of Kristi that instantly comes to mind when I think of her or hear her name.  This is the way I will continue to remember this extraordinary young woman.

Working with Kristi at her dad's office at State Farm was such a joy. I loved Kristi so much. She always made that breakfast run on Fridays to Grandy's to feed all the staff. She was such a ray of sunshine to work with.  May the love of God bring Comfort to Don, Janet, Ashley and entire family.

Kristi and I had a friendship that I’ll forever cherish. God blessed me and put her in my life when I moved to the island and knew very few people. Her inclusive nature and love for others was was always evident.  She had an infectious smile and lit up many a dance floor. I know we’ll dance again together one day.

I don’t think she knew it, but Kristi made such a big impact on my life, especially my dance and cheer journey. She was someone I idolized since middle school. She cheered at Jane Macon and BHS, went to VSU, auditioned for the Atlanta Hawks, and was such a talented dancer and instructor known for her love for hip hop. I looked up to her so much and followed closely in her footsteps, making each of these things a part of my path as well. When I became a dance instructor, Kristi was always the first person I would contact to sub for my classes and she was always so kind to help me out! I sure wish I would have told her what a role model she was for me. I know she is dancing in heaven now. 



Kristi you’ve been my friend for the last 20 years I can’t believe you’re gone. I wish I could hug you again and not let you go. You were a blessing to everyone you knew and you will always be in our hearts. God I wish this wasn’t real but heaven couldn’t wait for you, you were truly an angel here on earth. I love you forever, I’ll miss you forever. 💔 

Kristi and I went to Norwich youth Powerline and youth study together a long time ago, and then we both became fitness instructors. Throughout the time of my gym journey we have encouraged each other and strengthened each other in our practices. She also took boxing where my son took it and I saw her several days a week there. She was always all smiles with the glow in her eyes. Always eager to help. Always complimentary. The last time I saw her was the recent good vibes festival where after my gyms zumba performance she came running up to me and said “I couldn’t see very well from where I was but I was vibin with y’all!” And then gave me a big hug and a smile and said “hey gorgeous how are you?” And we talked about her hip hop dance class which she was about to start up again this year and she wanted me to come. She was a gem. I’ll miss her energy and her smiles and hugs. Namaste My  sweet friend. 

Kristi was a foundation of my childhood. One of my very first best friends. Sleepovers and birthday parties, field days and celebrations, she is in so many of them. One of the kindest and most humble people I have ever known. Love you Kristi.

Kristi had a kind heart that many people admired.   Even as a 7th grade student she was a sincere and kind person.  Prayers for her family and loved ones.  

Kristi was always so much fun to dance with! She was an amazing choreographer and so full of fun with her upbeat personality! I remember loving when she would come choreograph for ADPi because I absolutely loved dancing with her!!! I loved taking her classes and her infectious smile and personality were the best! Before I became a nurse, I remember I was studying my butt off in school and working as a waitress over the summers on SSI. Kristi would come in often, and she’d always encourage me to keep on pushing through to achieve my goals, even when I was exhausted and ready to give up. She was a smiling face when I needed it most, and that encouragement on a rainy day. She was always so full of life, and I enjoyed talking with her about dance and random life events. Even after I got married and moved to South Florida and hadn’t  seen her in years, one visit back home included running into her at a restaurant, and we caught up chatting for over an hour about life! I loved seeing her so happy, and she loved hearing I had finally achieved those tough goals I’d worked so hard for over the years. She was so easy to talk to, and will be dearly missed by so many. Heaven gained one beautiful angel. ❤️❤️❤️

When I first joined ADPi at VSU, I was so nervous going into some of our first events, but I remember Kristi picking me up for one and making me so excited to be a part of ADPi. She exuded joy and it was infectious. She was the best hype girl and was genuinely happy for her friend's success. I can still picture her coaching me for a lip sync battle against all of the other sororities. I was confident because Kristi was confident in me and she pumped me up through the entire thing. She had a big heart and was such a good friend to so many. She'll be a missing piece in so many lives. I'll be praying for peace and comfort for her loved ones. 

Kristi would occasionally pick me up for school in her little black Lexus, and we would listen to Nelly’s new album, Nellyville, on repeat until we arrived at the BHS parking lot.  Every time I hear Nelly, I think of her and that little spot of time in our lives when we were young and carefree.  A kindred spirit, I thought she hung the moon. Sending love to all who were fortunate enough to remain close.

The Omcore family will not be the same without sweet and sassy Kristi. She was such a beautiful, talented, and precious human being and gave so much of herself when teaching dance, fitness, and yoga. We loved her SO!
