Kay Kaylaine Elaine Drake Wentworth

Kay Wentworth of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be held Tuesday August 5, 2014 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mrs. Wentworth, a lifelong resident of Glynn County, was born in Brunswick on August 4, 1938 to the late James W. Drake, Sr. and

Willodene Morgan Drake.

Mrs. Wentworth graduated from Glynn Academy in 1958 and was married in March, 1961 to Robert Eugene Wentworth. She worked as a Bank Teller for SunTrust Bank, but always found time for fishing trips with her husband. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time on her computer, she liked to keep an eye on neighborhood happenings and mostly she relished her TV time watching Bill O’Riley.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wentworth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Wentworth. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Giessman (Patrick), son, Jeffrey Wentworth, a brother James W. Drake, Jr. (Marion), all of Brunswick, Georgia, four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wentworth leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
