Judith Monteith Ballard

Judith Monteith Ballard of St. Simons Island departed this life Sunday, February 13, 2022 at SGHS in Brunswick. The family invites anyone who knew or was touched by Judy to join them in celebrating and honoring her memory on March 26, 2022 from 5-7pm at Signature Properties.

Born March 17, 1944 in Fredericksburg, Virginia to the late Paul Rowe and Loraine Ennis Monteith, Ms. Ballard was a realtor with Signature Properties Group of St. Simons Island and was a lifetime member of The Circle of Excellence. Her main focus was spending time with her family and friends. She was passionate about gardening, interior design, dancing and country music, especially Conway Twitty. Judy had a special love for the water and enjoyed passing time on the beach. She was a member of St. Simons Community Church and had been a resident of St. Simons for 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Mark Shover and wife, Ginger of Richmond, VA, and Tracey Shover of Arlington, VA, two grandchildren, Chip Shover and Bailey Shover both of Richmond, VA, and a very special companion, Dan Pearson of St. Simons Island.
