John Joseph Wirtz

John Joseph Wirtz, of Brunswick, departed this life on Tuesday the 24th of April 2018 at the age 84. He was born the 20th of April 1934 in Chicago, IL. to the late George Wirtz, and the late Ella Monahan Wirtz, He had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 14 years.

Mr. Wirtz is survived by his loving wife of fifty seven years Patricia A. Wirtz of Brunswick GA; three children John Joseph Wirtz, Jr., and wife Debbie of Brunswick GA, Karen Ann Hansell and husband Eric of New Millford, CT, and Brian William Wirtz and wife Victoria of Cheshire, CT; four grandchildren John M. Hansell, Gregory Hansell, Ian Wirtz, and Christine Wirtz; and several other family members.

The family has requested that in lieu of customary remembrances, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, 4627 US. Highway 17 North, Brunswick Georgia 31525.

Mr. Wirtz memorialization was by cremation, no services at this time.
