Jimmy D. Hodges

He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Patricia Hodges; daughter: Karen Mashburn (Al); stepson: Michael Martin (Paddy); granddaughters: Erica Hinson (Farrell) and Erin Serven; grandson: Michael Martin II (Jeannie); great- grandsons: Josh and Zachariah Hinson; great- granddaughter: Candace Mosley (James); great- great grandson: Jayden Hinson and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hodges was born December 2, 1932 in Pearson to Tom and Roxie Hodges. He is preceded in death by five brothers, one sister and a great grandson.

Mr. Hodges served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He then went to work at Brunswick Pulp and Paper where he retired from after 41 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Cramer officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 1PM-2PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Michael Martin II, Mike Hodges, Herbert Rogers, James Fuller, Troy Hodges and Lance Clark. Honorary Pallbearers include: Tony Rocha, Aubrey Rozier and retirees of Brunswick Pulp and Paper.
