Jeffery "Jeffee" Andrew Strickland

Jeffery “Jeffee” Andrew Strickland, 53, of Brunswick, GA passed away Sunday July 22, 2012 at Southeast Georgia Health System. Funeral service will be held11 AM Wednesday July 25, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Parrish officiating. Interment will follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery .Serving active pallbearers will be Edward Carter, Andrew Altman, Mark Hill, Daniel Crooms, Joey Prescott, and Elmond King. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Segerberg, and SICU nurses Amy and Sarah.

Family will receive friends Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 6 PM- 8PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. Strickland was born in Jesup, GA August 31, 1958 to the late Randall Jackson Strickland and the late Ruthie Mae Manning Strickland. He had been a resident of Glynn County for the past forty seven years. He was employed from Brunswick Housing Authority close to twenty years in the Maintenance Department. After retirement Mr. Strickland became self employed making locks and was owner of Locks and More.

Mr. Strickland was a loving husband, father and grandfather-to be that loved E-Bay, boating the Intracoastal Water Ways, four-wheeling and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to Mr. Strickland’s parents he is preceded in death by his brother Donald Strickland.

Survivors include his loving wife Angela Strickland, his son Cody Strickland ,two sisters Annette McSpadden (Jim) and Linda Mason (Don) all of Brunswick, a brother Leroy Strickland(Sue) of Brantley County, several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and one special little girl that held his heart Cailynn Kate Altman.
