Jack Malone approved my very first loan on St. Simons.  At a time when women were not encouraged to get into business, he did not hesitate to loan me money to buy a house that I was not going to occupy, but rather renovate to sell.  It was a very profitable deal and I continued to do business with him.  Jack was a good ole Georgia boy who treated everyone the same.  Marie
