Hilaire Pam Lederman Bauer, age 55, left this earth on Thursday, September 13, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends. She was loved and will be missed beyond measure. Hilaire touched the lives of all that knew her in a positive way. She was kind and loving and valued her family and friends with all her heart. Her horses and Jack Russell Terriers were also valued, greatly loved, family members.
A memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, Georgia.
Hilaire was born on August 31, 1957 in Boston Massachusetts. She was the daughter of William J. and Helen Lederman of Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School in Gahanna, Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Her early professional career varied from Administrative Assistant to Vice President of Clinical Development for Adria Pharmaceutical Co. Hilaire met Carl Bauer, love of her life, through their mutual love of horses. They were married and have shared their lives for the past 37 years.
Hilaire loved life with great expectation and a sense of adventure which led Hilaire and Carl into multiple successful business ventures including a Bed and Breakfast in Put-In-Hay, Ohio, a commercial green house they both built and operated, breeding and showing Arabian horses, owning and operating Ocean Gallery (coffee shop and art gallery) on St. Simons Island, Ga. Hilaire’s finial and most successful career developed from her love of real estate. She worked with Vernon and Mary Ann Mims at Island Realty on St. Simons Island, Ga. for many years before pursuing her Broker’s License and opening Haiaire Bauer & Associates real Estate, LLC in Brunswick, Ga.
Hilaire is survived by her beloved Husband, Carl Bauer and Sister Robin Jackson: many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.
