Henry S. "Pat" Sanders

Henry S. “Pat” Sanders, 67, of Brunswick, GA passed away peacefully Thursday, July 29, 2010 at his residence. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 am Monday, August 2, 2010 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA, with Reverend Earl Parrish officiating. Interment will follow the service in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving pallbearers are Bobby Hall, Ben Lott, Danny Sharpe, Raymond Sanders, Joe Lillard, and Shay Sanford. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Marsha Certain and Dr. C. David Sudduth.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA.

A lifelong native of Brunswick, GA, born July 15, 1943 to the late Henry Sylvester Sanders, Sr. and the late Ruby Mae Conley. Mr. Sanders was employed as a painter by trade at the Painters Local Union #1169, and was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Sanders enjoyed many hobbies some of his favorite was fishing and painting art work.

Mr. Sanders leaves behind him a legacy of lifelong friendships and cherished memories. Everyone whose lives he touched will dearly remember Mr. Henry S. “Pat” Sanders.

In addition to Mr. Sander’s parents he is preceded in death by his son Patrick Henry Sanders.

Mr. Sanders leaves behind his loving wife of thirty years Mary E. Sanders, three daughters Betty Howell, Christine Westbrooks, and Angela Herndon, his sister Shirley Anderson, three brothers Roy Sanders and wife Marlene, Jack Sanders and wife Billie Jean, and Bruce Sanders and wife Earldine, seven grandchildren Brandy Huffand husband Joey, Patrick and Kati Sanders, Jay and Niki Owens, and Steven and Britany Howell, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
