Georgia Ann Redick, 89, of Brunswick, departed this life Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Friday, January 12, 2024 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Robert Hicks, Eddie O’Conner, William Tucker, Paul Drury, Virgil Jenkins and Rudy Mobley serving as pallbearers.
Born March 8, 1934 in Pearson, Georgia to the late John Louis and Mary Eliza J. Watts, she was a lifelong member of Open Bible Baptist Church where she served a secretary and treasurer. She had been a resident of Glynn County since 1948 Mrs. Redick was a Tupperware sales associate for over 30 years, and was a n associate at Sears for40 years. She enjoyed painting seascapes and shrimp boats, embroidery and webbing. She was affectionately called “Granny” by many that knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Thomas Redick, son Thomas Andrew Redick, daughter Bobbie Jean Redick, a sister, Ola Katheryn Roesch, and a daughter in law Dianne Reddick.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Bryan Redick of Brunswick, grandchildren, Teresa Ann Redick, Heather Elizabeth Redick, and Cynthia Ann Mobley and husband Cody, several great grandchildren, a sister Jessie McAlilly of Eufaula, AL, and a daughter in law Mary Jane Redick of Waycross.
