George Millard Morris

George Millard Morris, 66, of Brunswick departed this life Saturday, April 29, 2023 at SGHS Brunswick Campus. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Chapel Park Cemetery with Reverend Randy Wainright officiating.

Born August 21, 1956 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Morrell and Myrna N. Morris. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School Class of 1975. Mr. Morris was a lifelong resident of Glynn County and was a residential roofer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, two sisters Marie Baker and Gail Underwood precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Debbie Morris of Brunswick, two children, Shawn Morris and wife Ashley of Hortense, and Tabitha Lyons and husband Christopher of Nahunta, four grandchildren, Amber Morris, Hannah Harvey, Hartley Morris, and Tegan Lyons, a great great-grandchild, Kaylee Morris, two brothers, Jack Morris and wife Geneva of Brunswick, Bubba Morris and wife Janice of Nahunta, a half-brother, Lee Rodenberry and wife Janie of Brunswick, a sister, Patsy Long of Brunswick, several nieces and nephews as well as extended family.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon May 4, 2023 from 2 pm until the funeral hour at Chapel Park Cemetery. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. www.edomillerandsons.com
