Frank was born in Brunswick, GA on November 25, 1946. After graduating from Glynn Academy in 1964, he attended North Georgia Military College, and graduated from the University of Georgia.
He was predeceased by his parents, Foster Franklin Preston and Eula Clifford Preston of Brunswick, GA.
Previously working in the real estate industry he was a Georgia Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified Real Estate Appraiser and former President of the Brunswick-St. Simons Home Builders Association.
As former President of Georgia Media Corporation, his most proud achievement was founder and creator of the award winning “The Real Estate Show” and “Coastal Georgia Living” enjoyed by many local viewers on Channel 64 .
An avid animal lover he previously served on the Board of the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia. Frank will be remembered for his genuine love and compassion as protector and caretaker of the many animals he helped throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his daughter Juli Perrotto (Nick) of West Palm Beach, FL, and a sister, Linda Chamberlain (Monte) of Peoria, IL and two grandchildren, Skye and Nicholas Perrotto of West Palm Beach, FL., a nephew Preston Watts (Paula) of Birmingham, AL, a niece Shannon Sweetnam (Bill) of Lake Forest, IL, 4 great nephews and 1 great niece, and his beloved canine companion Taco.
Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 22 from 6 – 8 pm.
A memorial service to honor Frank's life will be held at ll:00 am on Tuesday, August 23 at the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Crandall officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Matthew Certain, Dale Leonard, Hal Sigman, Richard Friedman, Tom Parker, David Youngblood, Joe McDonough, Larry McDonough Sr., Mike Martin, Shane Watson, Andy Ledford, Kent Wilson, Curtis Leggett, Bill Bryant, Roy Rocha, Ron Hermes, Nephews, The Golden Isles Association of Realtors, and former Employees of Georgia Media Corporation “The Real Estate Show”.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia or charity of donors choice.
Arrangements are entrusted into the care of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
