Ellen Anderson Moore

Ellen Anderson Moore, age 63, of Brunswick, died Saturday, April 25, 2015. Ellen was a native of Jesup and a graduate of Wayne County High School. Her passion was her church and her family. She was an active member of Taylor’s United Methodist Church and will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Catherine Anderson; two sisters, Carolyn Deitz and Louise McLendon and a grandson, Hunter Moore.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Harold Moore, Sr.; three children, Harold Moore, Jr.(Rachel), Terri Moore Jones and Douglas Moore (Kate), all of Brunswick; a sister, Marian LaViano (Lin) of California; a brother, Joe Anderson of Savannah; seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Ellen will be remembered as a loving person who enjoyed gardening and taking care of others.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Taylors Chapel with Rev. Whit Kirkland, Rev. Drew Thompson and Rev. Cameron Jones officiating. Active pallbearers will be Andrew James, Chris Jones, Eric Kelly, Steven Lofquist, Benji Moore, Canen Moore, Ron Moore and Craig Richburg. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Taylors United Methodist Church and Taylors Chapel. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
