Dennis Benjamin Hayes

He was the son of Thomas and Louise Hayes of Tifton, GA who preceded him in death as well as his brothers Tommy and Mitchell Hayes. A sister, Tina Hayes Higginbotham, remains.

Dennis left behind a very large number of people who knew and loved and thought well of him, for he was a lovable, friendly guy. Marvin Yoder, his former boss and "buddy", he loved like a brother, most of all, he treasured his " Baby Doll" his wife of 35 years, who he met and married thirteen days later, Gloria Hayes. They completed each other and stayed the course God laid for them, and when he was through, God gave him rest. She and their faithful and loving children, Brett Cox and wife Mika of Brunswick Ga, Jennifer Harvey and husband Zachariah, Scarlett and her husband Robert - whom Dennis loved as a son- , and granddaughter Mya Davis, all of Darien, Georgia, were blessed to be a part of his last, sweetest years, to help care for him and let him know how deeply they loved him, comforted his heart, mind, body, and soul as dementia slowly advanced. He is also survived by Amanda Brandt Carter and Dennissa Arenas.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
