Deanna McDowell Crews, age 43, of Brunswick, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus. Deanna was a lifelong resident of Brunswick who enjoyed all the area has to offer. She loved being outside and enjoyed going to the beach, river, fishing, riding her bike and rollerblading. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Crews of Brunswick; three daughters, Christina McCormick (Kaleb), Cheyanne Marie Crews and Ceanna Anthony Crews, all of Brunswick; Her father, David McDowell of Brunswick; a sister, Denisha McKenzie (Mike) of St. Simons Island, and two grandchildren, Paityn McCormick and Kolton McCormick, both of Brunswick.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the First United Pentecostal Church with Reverend H.E. Wheatley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
