Cynthia Elizabeth Futch

Cindy was a life-long resident of Glynn County and one of two girls born to Thomas William “TW” Birch and Grace Elizabeth Gooch Birch. She was a graduate of Brunswick High and Brunswick Junior College where she earned a certificate in Respiratory Therapy. Cindy worked at the hospital for several years then went to work for Joe Ferrier as a Real Estate Paralegal. She worked for Joe for 30 plus years then Lee Carmical for 7 years prior to retirement. Cindy loved spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Bunco Club for over 30 years. She enjoyed going to the movies, fishing, shopping, watching fireworks, traveling, especially cruising, and going to amusement parks.

She was predeceased by her parents and her only sibling, Teresa Carol Ferrier.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Carl Futch; two children, Jason and Carla Futch; a niece and two nephews, Joseph, Crystal and Tad Ferrier; a brother-in-law, Joe Ferrier and three grand canines, Max, Marley and Nelson.

A service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Hanson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow at the Brunswick Country Club.
