Charles Martin Plott Sr.

The family will honor his life with a visitation held at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2015 during the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00PM.

Mr. Plott was a native of Maynard, Georgia, but had resided in Hortense most of his adult life. He was the son of the late Ernest Eli and Pearl Ovillie Plott. He was also the loving husband of Eula “Judy” Mae Plott. He was a retired Butcher with Winn Dixie. Mr. Plott was a member of Blythe Island Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He cherished spending time with his family and enjoyed creating objects with his hands. He was an avid knife maker and also loved to fish. He enjoyed the sportsmanship of salt water fishing the most.

Mr. Plott was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers, Jack and George Plott, a sister, Bonnie Murray. He is survived by his caring wife, Eula “Judy” Mae Plott of Hortense, GA; two daughters, June Charlene Plott, of Hortense, GA and Judy Denise Wooten ( Roy) of Hortense, GA; one son, Charles Martin Plott JR.; a grandson, William Martin Davis of Hoboken, GA; one grand-daughter, Crystal Michelle Cline of Hortense, GA; a brother, David Harold Plott, of Hortense, GA. Three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Plott will be missed by all who knew and loved him. However, his family will have many fond memories to cherish forever.
