Carmen Leila Cantellops McClure

Mrs. McClure was a native of Puerto Rico and had been a resident of St. Simon Island for 20 years. She was owner of Pro Pool and Spa. She was a member of the Networking Group. She was a member of the St. Simons Community Church. She was an artist on St. Simons.

She was the widow of the Late Mike McClure of St. Simons Island.

Survivors are her two daughters, Marianela Vazquez of St. Simons and Leila Vasquez of Miami, FL, two grandchildren, Isabella Gonzalez of Miami, FL, and Sofia Hunter of St. Simons Island, a sister, Josefina Cantellops Cautino of Miami, FL, and a brother, Hugo Cantellops of Puerto Rico, a nephew, Eduardo Cautino of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Buenos Aires, Argentina and a niece, Gigi Cautino of Gainesville, GA.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday January 11, 2011, in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Yarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens on St. Simons Island.

Active pallbearers will be: Eduardo Cautino, John Gibson, Scott Hall, Noel Burnsed, Karl Self, Brian Vaughn and Fradique Rocha.

The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday and request in lieu of flowers contributions to the Donor’s Choice.
