Born July 11, 1950, she was the daughter of Vaudie and Bina Williams. In 1990, she moved to Brunswick where she continued her career at FLETC. In 2002, Belinda became the Director of the Golden Isles Children Advocacy Center. Belinda spent the last 7 years in Knoxville, TN where she had directed and been apart of various child and adolescent services throughout the community.
Belinda spent the majority of her life fighting for children in need. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and was an avid fan of baseball.
She will be remembered for her huge heart and driven spirit.
She is survived by her brother Vaudie Williams of Memphis TN, and her son Matthew Pitts of Acworth, GA.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 4th at 2PM in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick.
