

Mr. Clark was a native of West Virginia but grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He had been a resident of Brunswick since 1945. He retired in 1987 after 40 years with Brunswick Pulp and Paper Co. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in W.W. Ii. He was an Honor Donor with the American Red Cross having given 43 Pints of blood.
He was a member of the Norwich Street Baptist Church and was a Deacon for several terms, active with the young People of the Church and the Assistant Treasure for the Church for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Helen Crews Clark and his parents and 5 siblings.
Survivors are his wife of 25 years, Janette D. Clark of Brunswick, a daughter, Sandra Epstein (Albert) of Savannah, a granddaughter, Lisa Dillard (Morgan) of Savannah, daughters, Ernestine Harper (Steve) of Mt. Pleasant, Ga., Debra Nattrass (William) of Thalmann, Ga., son, Raphael Nail (Robin) and Children of Baxley, Ga., three grandchildren, Robert Epstein of Savannah, Laurence Epstein of Atlanta, Ga., Dawn Berlinsky (Douglas) and Family of Charleston, S.C., three sister-in-laws, Ruby Pittman and Jackie Brand both of Brunswick and Norma Kalnin of Clearwater, Fl., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 Am Monday 5/43/10 from the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Tucker officiating. Private burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Raphael Nail, Wyatt Nail, Gary Nail, William Nattrass, Robert Epstein, Laurence Epstein, Steve Harper, Charlie Edgy and John Deistal. Honorary pallbearers will be; Mike Edgy, Charles Ricks, Wayne Dykes, Carroll Dykes, Floyd Thompson, Tommy Miller, Rodney Harrison and Johnny Mancil.
The family request in lieu of flowers contributions to the Norwich Baptist Church or the Hospice of the Golden isles. The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 3 to 5 PM Sunday afternoon.
