Barbara Ann Pelletier

She was born on June 30th, 1938 in Morristown, NY to the late Robert and Ione Bushnell and spent her childhood on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York. She married Robert Daniel Lutz on April 13, 1957 and was married for forty years until his passing in 1997. Barbara married Richard Pellitier in 2002 and they enjoyed thirteen years together until his death in 2015.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, William Bushnell and is survived by her sisters and families Patricia and Edward Spicer of Massena, NY, Judith and Charles Miller of Alexandria, VA, Linda and Daniel Hefti of St. Simons Island.

She leaves her children Cynthia Cross of St. Simons Island, Jennifer Berry of St. Simons Island, Robert Lutz,Jr. of Champlain, NY, Jeffrey (Tara) Lutz of Prescott, AZ and Matthew (Mona) Lutz of Calais, VT. Additionally, she leaves 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a devoted and active member of the St. William Parish on St. Simons Island and through her devotion and fellowship with her treasured parish community, found fulfillment and joy.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island at 11am on the 25th of August.
