Sara V. Rodriguez

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on April 5, 1940 in Brownsville, Texas. She was a devoted Christian, having given her life to Christ at the age of 34. She was a member of Templo Eben- Ezer for the last 40 years.

Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Feliciano Velez and Francisca Muñoz Velez; siblings, Pedro Velez and Esther Velez; and her son, Jose Luis Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pascual Rodriguez Sr., children, Yolanda (Sergio) Hernandez, Pascual (Rosalva) Rodriguez Jr., Ismael (Yolanda) Rodriguez, Margarito (Amparo) Rodriguez, and Judy (Kent) Bauer; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Rebecca V. Garza, Eleazar Velez, and Elias Velez.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. with a Prayer Service to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Prayer Service will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 1:00p.m. at Templo Eben- Ezer (4294 Southmost Rd.), followed by committal service at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jonathan Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Christian A. Rodriguez, Sergio Hernandez Jr., Adrian Hernandez, and Nick A. Rodriguez.
