Roy was a native and lifelong resident of Brownsville. He proudly served six years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Moran is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Maria D. Moran; and numerous other relatives.
Left behind to eternally treasure his memory are his loving wife, Silvia Moran; sister, Lillian (Ernest) Flores of Brownsville; two nephews, Richard (Kristie) Flores of San Antonio, Tx., Thomas (Porter) Flores of Washington, D.C.; and the Benavides and Moran families.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00p.m.
The Burial of Ashes will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park with Full Military Honors conducted by the members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2035.
