Born in Reynosa, Tamps, Rosa lived most of her life in Brownsville. She was a retired banker (40 years) whose customers will remember her for her meticulous and gracious service.
Her favorite times were spent with family and friends, playing cards or dominoes and shopping. Her family and friends will cherish memories of a loving and impeccably stylish daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel C. Gonzalez, her brother, Manuel J. Gonzalez and her sister, Virginia Gonzalez.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia S. de Gonzalez, her siblings, Marcelino J. (Anita) Gonzalez, Gilda E. Gonzalez , Bernardo E. Gonzalez, her sister-in-law, Sandra K. Gonzalez, her nephews, Manuel (Monica) Gonzalez, Nino Gonzalez, her niece Melissa G. (Tim) Brown and numerous cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marcelino Gonzalez, Bernardo Gonzalez, Nino Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez and Amalio Perez.
