

Mr. Sambrano lost his battle with cancer on July 5, 2012. He was born on May 22, 1931 in Pearsall, Texas. He was raised in Dilley, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood and Fort Knox. He worked at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana for 30 years until his retirement (1955-1985).
Mr. Sambrano is preceded in death by his parents, Cesario Sambrano and Trinidad G. Sambrano; wife, Frances R. Sambrano; brothers, Jose A. Rios, Cesario Sambrano Jr. and Simon Sambrano.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Liz) Sambrano Hernandez; son, Rob Sambrano; granddaughter, Roxanne (Roxy) Hernandez; brothers, Jesus Sambrano, Reynaldo Sambrano, Rogelio Sambrano, and Rodolfo Sambrano; sisters, Teresa Cano, Elena Escamilla and Ofelia Roman; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 8am to 9:30am on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2645 Tulipan on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10am with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Emilo Cano, Robert Godinez, Joe Rosales Jr., Joe Rosales III, Jimmy Dominguez and Rolando Ramirez.
