His most precious gift was spending time with his grandchildren making them laugh. He was an avid Texas Rangers Fan up to the day of his death.

Mr. Maldonado is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Maldonado and Margarita Maldonado; brother, Hector Maldonado and Jose Maldonado; sisters, Petra M. Cordova and Maria M. Alvarado.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Maria C. Maldonado; daughters, Norma (Moe), Linda (Felix) and Ana (Humberto); grandchildren, Alyssa, Annette, Arianna, Michelle, Humberto III, Christian and Ana Sofia; brothers, Hilario Maldonado, Manuel Maldonado and Arturo Maldonado; sisters, Adelfa M. Torres and Ana Maria M. Herrera; numerous nieces, nephews and his loyal neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 1 pm – 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan St., Brownsville, TX. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Moe Molina, Felix R. Garcia, Humberto Garcia, Jr., Arturo Maldonado, Jr., Manuel Maldonado, Jr., and Francisco Maldonado.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Humberto Garcia III and Christian Alejandro Garcia.
