Ricardo Delgado

Mr. Delgado is preceded in death by his loving wife, Esther G. Delgado; his parents, Concepcion S. Delgado and Sr. Enrique Delgado; and his brother, Alfredo P. Delgado.

Mr. Delgado is survived by his four daughters, Maria Velia Martinez, Maria Concepcion Mendez, Luz Maria Cardenas, and Maria Elvira (Henry Benavidez) Delgado; his two sons, Ricardo (Ninfa) Delgado Jr., and Enrique Delgado; his three brothers, Enrique (Aracely) Delgado, Roberto (Mariana) Delgado, and Rafael (Maria P.) Delgado; his two sisters, Severina Medina, and Maria Santos Martinez; his grandchildren, Fidel Martinez, Rebecca Martinez, Manuel Mendez, Delfina Mendez, Antonia Mendez, Connie Mendez, Ricardo Mendez, Mario Cardenas, Yessica Villarreal, Elizabeth Villarreal, Lizeth Delgado, Esther Delgado, Erika Delgado, Enrique Delgado, and Emilio Delgado; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Lee Renteria, Mario Plata Jr., Matthew Martinez, Mario Cardenas, Maria Fernanda Cardenas, Roberto Berlanga, and Fabian Messiah Martinez.

Mr. Delgado also leaves behind nieces, nephews, family members, and loving friends to cherish his memory. Special appreciation goes out to all of the medical staff at Valley Regional Hospital and his doctors, Dr. Ahmed Kartkoutly, Dr. Fadi Alfayoumi, Dr. Ricardo Adames, Dr. Jamil Mahdi and nurses at Superior Home Health, and Dr. Sharma and Dr. Gonzalez and caring staff at Texas Oncology Center. A big thank you also to his Amanecer providers, Paulita Lucio, Ramona Ramirez, Antonia Mendez, and countless other individuals that treated him with dignity, respect, and loving care.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 11a.m. to 9p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with committal service to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricardo Delgado Jr., Manuel Mendez, Henry Benavidez, and Fidel Martinez III, Enrique Delgado, and Mario A. Cardenas.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ricardo Mendez, Mario Plata Jr., Brandon Lee Renteria, and Enrique Delgado Jr.
