Ramon was a carpenter by trade and was blessed to teach building trades to high school students for 20 years. He taught at La Feria High School for 5 years and 15 years at South Texas ISD.
He was always willing to help everyone and loved by many. He wore many hats, from mechanic, plumber, gardener, uber, chef and so many others but his favorites were being a husband, Dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and padrino.
Ramon was a devout Catholic and attended mass every Sunday. He enjoyed praying the Lord of Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary daily.
He was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and always looked forward to watching the games with family.
